Your tasks

  • Assisting our graphic design department with upcoming titles, design, and packaging concepts.
  • Typesetting, and continuation of layouts based on sample pages.
  • Working with the Adobe suit, such as InDesign scripts to edit the content, formatting, and graphics of books. 
  • Coordinating with the editing and prepress department in the evaluation and implementation of content and graphic corrections.


Your profile

  • Strong interest and knowledge in design, typography, art, art history, photography, architecture, pop culture, travel and fashion – the foundations of our publishing program.
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated (BA or MA) in Fine Art, Graphics or Design.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Clear visual language.
  • Unique and personal sense of design.
  • Enjoy keeping updated on trends and design.
  • Independent, structured and team-oriented way of working and strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $37,500 and $42,000, excluding commissions. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
