In 2007, TASCHEN expanded its presence in L.A. to Hollywood’s popular Farmer’s Market. French designer Philippe Starck transformed the unique 550 square foot space into a shrine to TASCHEN books with mahogany from Asia, brass shelves and engravings, and bronze-trimmed tables. The interior of the historic Clock Tower – under which the store is nestled – presents original painted works by American artist Mark Grotjahn. With numerous restaurants and shops as neighbors, TASCHEN Hollywood stands right in the middle of the action and is a favorite destination for both tourists and locals.
