Beverly Hills was TASCHEN’s first store in the United States. Conceived by celebrated French designer Philippe Starck and inspired by the high ceilings and immersive artworks of the Sistine Chapel, the mahogany, brass, and glass interiors are enveloped by 20 “Computer Paintings” by German artist Albert Oehlen. TASCHEN Beverly Hills stays true to the star-studded surroundings and has hosted some unforgettable book events in the publisher’s own neighborhood for the likes of David LaChapelle, Sylvester Stallone, Patti Smith, Valentino, Tadao Ando, Christo and many more.
