The author
Since 1965, Roy Thomas has been writing for movies, television, and especially comic books. With notable runs on Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Conan the Barbarian, The Incredible Hulk, and Star Wars, he served as a Marvel editor from 1965–80 and editor-in-chief from 1972–74. He currently edits the comics-history magazine Alter Ego and writes two online Tarzan strips as well as the occasional comic book. He and his wife Dann live in South Carolina.

A small glimpse into the silver age of marvel comics. Not particularly in depth or thorough, but a great step forward for someone looking to learn more about the art and artists of marvels silver age.Awesome book

Probablemente no estamos ante un libro único en su género, pero si puedo ir más allá y decir que es una obra muy completa de esta gran era llamada, la era del comic Como referente de la época dorada de los comics, Marvel sale a relucir con sus grandes historietas y grandes personajes, (héroes y villanos) Un fascinante viaje que nos traslada no solo a sus historietas e historiadores sino también a sus creadores Abarcando la era de su nacimiento 1961 a su época dorada 1978, la narrativa nos llevara por una telaraña entre tejida por el mismísimo spider man en la cual se incluye grandes personajes como lo es capitán América, Hulk, Iron Man o los 4 fantásticos, por mencionar algunos cuantos de este fascinante mundo creado por la compañía Marvel y de la, mano de muchos escritores, guionistas, entintadores, dibujantes. y al mando Stan lee su creador Sin mas un libro hecho para los que realmente compran los comics en los estantillos
