TASCHEN’s first store in Asia opened in 2018 in Hong Kong’s Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage and Arts, located in the courtyard of the former Central Police Station and with a beautiful terrace overlooking Hollywood Road. The store became an instant hot spot for art afficionados and book fans alike, and it’s commitment to promoting cultural exchange has been met through book signings and dialogues with notable figures like Rem Koolhaas and Steve McCurry. The 1,300 square foot flagship is appointed with Mogens Koch bookshelves, Gio Ponti furniture, and elegant wood flooring.
