TASCHEN Madrid is located in Las Salesas, a quintessential district of the city beloved by locals and tourists alike. Taking over an old haberdashery on Barquillo Street, the store’s design playfully mixes furniture from Parisian Hotel Ritz with lamps by Danish designers Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup, lending the space a contemporary feel while maintaining the endearing character of the original – creating a new world of TASCHEN books enveloped in the rich bohemian past of the neighborhood.
