(Senior) Controller (m/f/d)

For our Controlling team at our headquarters in Cologne, we are seeking a full-time (SENIOR) CONTROLLER (M/F/D).

The aim of this role is to provide data and reports for optimal decision-making by the TASCHEN Group's management and executives.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consulting and project work, such as the establishment and enhancement of controlling systems and processes or special projects (e.g., the implementation of Business Central)
  • Development and creation of reports and ad-hoc analyses for management and executives
  • Development of cost analyses and reports at the level of profit centers, products, and customers
  • Identification and realization of cost-saving potentials
  • Participation in monthly and year-end closing activities
  • Determination of license fees
  • Communication and collaboration with other corporate departments
  • Collaboration with international subsidiaries
  • Point of contact for expert inquiries on complex matters in controlling

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and independent work approach
  • Enthusiasm, pragmatic hands-on approach, and flexibility
  • Reliability and a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills (in English and German) to assess and understand the needs of management and executives, and to act accordingly
  • Advanced IT skills, including MS Office, ERP systems (MS Navision and/or Business Central), and BI tools
  • Completed business administration degree with a focus in controlling/accounting, or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally within a medium-sized, international, and owner-managed company
