Your tasks

  • Project management of multilingual book publications on topics from the fields of art, architecture, design, film, photography, and pop culture, from budget and schedule preparation to printing.
  • Timely and efficient revision of titles for new editions.Reprint coordination of our extensive backlist catalogue.
  • Close collaboration with international authors, translators, freelancers, typesetters, designers, museums, picture agencies and printers in Germany and abroad.
  • Clarification of image, text and artist rights, as well as image procurement.
  • Internal coordination with the graphics and production departments.


Your profile

  • Strong interest in and knowledge in editorial tasks, as well as art, art history, photography, architecture, design, pop culture, travel, and fashion – the foundations of our publishing program.
  • Completed studies (MA) in Humanities, Book Studies, Languages or similar.
  • Proven experience in project management within the publishing industry.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, databases, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.
  • Organizational talent with an eye for detail and strong sense of precision.
  • Enjoy working with language and perfect knowledge of spelling and grammar.
  • Proficiency in excellent written and spoken German and English, any other language is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.Independent, structured and team-oriented way of working and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Open-mindedness and a passion for the range of our program.
