Gallery Sales Associate Brussels (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- You will bring your previous sales experience, preferably in an art or gallery environment, to the sale of the TASCHEN program.
- With your drive for sales and advising, you will promote the brand and contribute to the development of its network and sales.
- You will support the team with warehouse management, ordering, database maintenance as well as the coordination of incoming goods, merchandise shipments, presentation and maintenance of the product range and day to day tasks.
- You will bring your sense of responsibility and organizational skills to TASCHEN events, such as book signings, art fairs and new openings at home and abroad.
Your profile
- Passionate about art, photography, architecture, design, fashion and luxury publishing.
- Commercially minded, confident and results-oriented, with a genuine enthusiasm for sales.
- Experienced in building relationships with discerning international collectors and high-net-worth clientele.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and motivated to exceed sales targets.
- Your profile is rounded off by excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English in addition to strong MS Office skills. Please note that fluency in Dutch is a mandatory requirement for this position. Applications from candidates without Dutch language proficiency cannot be considered.
- Social skills, flexibility, together with a collaborative and customer-oriented approach, support you in achieving personal and team sales goals.
- Impeccably presented with excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience in luxury retail, galleries, auction houses, publishing or premium customer service is highly desirable.
