Peter Fonda

Actor Peter Fonda leapt from stage to television to the screen in the mid-1960s, becoming one of the leading icons of the counterculture with the films Wild Angels (1966), The Trip (1967), and the groundbreaking indie classic, Easy Rider (1969), which he also produced and co-wrote. In a career spanning nearly six decades, he has starred in, written, or directed dozens more films including the critically acclaimed Ulee’s Gold (1997) and The Limey (1999). His famous family and turbulent life were the subject of his memoir, Don’t Tell Dad. He lives in Paradise Valley, Montana, and Los Angeles.
