Andreas Ludwig

Andreas Ludwig has been the director of the Dokumentationszentrum Alltagskultur der DDR in Eisenhüttenstadt since 1993. He studied history and German literature at the Berlin Free University and received his PhD from the Technical University Berlin. He worked in the Berlin History Workshop movement (”Berliner Geschichtswerkstatt“), and later became the founding director of the local history museum in Berlin-Charlottenburg. He is the co-editor of WerkstattGeschichte and a lecturer in museology at the Europa-University Viadrina at Frankfurt (Oder).
