TASCHEN mourns the passing of Aline Kominsky-Crumb on November 29, in Sauve, France. Wife of Robert Crumb, and a pioneering underground comic artist in her own right, Aline was a member of the Wimmen’s Comix collective, and editor of Twisted Sisters magazine. Robert Crumb immortalized his muse and soulmate in scores of portraits during their 50 years together. She was 74.
