Logobook launch at TASCHEN Store Amsterdam

On the evening of May 31st, we had the pleasure that Ludovic Houplain from the Studio H5 did the signing of Logobook in our TASCHEN Store Amsterdam. The atmosphere was great and Ludovic personalized every book with a personal drawing. Everybody enjoyed the drinks, the music and the movie Logorama that was projected on the wall with a beamer. It was a nice and crowded evening.

We like to thank Heineken and St. Pellegrino for their sponsoring and we are looking forward to the next event.

Selected Quotations from International Media

“With its astute focus on the aesthetics of [contemporary] culture and sexy design, TASCHEN’s chunky coffee table books on art, architecture, design and photography are all the rage, and the many stores across the planet are lavishly designed embassies where art aficionados happily seek shelter. The publisher is expanding once again, and the latest flagship opening is on Amsterdam’s P.C. Hooftstraat where it rubs shoulders with the majority of the city’s designer fashion boutiques. Split over two levels, the ground floor and mezzanine level feature TASCHEN’s best-selling and new titles and the basement section is reserved for limited edition photo reproductions and the remainder of the impressive range of book offerings. The opening party, attended by founder Benedikt Taschen and a few company dignitaries pulled a jolly crowd of guests and press.” — Superfuture.com, Netherlands
