PINXIT book launch at TASCHEN Store Paris with Mark RydenOn the night of May 4th, TASCHEN Store Paris was thrilled to host Mark Ryden for the launch of PINXIT, his very first book signing in Europe. Mark was accompanied by his wife and artist Marion Peck. His LA based gallery owner Michael Kohn also joined the party. Pink roses were offered to all ladies present. Mark had created a special stamp for the occasion and an exclusive PINXIT book mark. Enthusiastic fans even from the Netherlands and the South of France queued up already from 5pm and the Store was stuffed all through the night. More than 300 happy guests were in assistance. Some looked exactly like the models in Mark’s paintings and had special Mark Ryden tattoos. Jean-Sébastien Stehli, Editor in chief of Madame Figaro, attended the event as well as Elegy, Artension, Tsugi, France-Amérique, Hey! Magazine and many other media. Mark signed books and made delicate drawings punctuated by the last touch of his stamp assisted by Marion for more than 2 hours. |

— Paris Match, Paris, France

— France Soir, Paris, France
