| In TASCHEN books, it seems, the women don't have no vulvas ... I just can't see none. |

| That's don't have ANY vulvas, Pussylover, and thanks for bringing this error to our attention. We'll make sure to remedy this in the reprints of all books. | |

| I'd love to see Taschen publish a comprehensive volume on the work of Lee Lozano. (You might want to contact Francois Pinault at the Punta della Dogana; apparently he is quite a fan of her work and considers her "underappreciated.") Any plans for such an undertaking? | My friends Mac has a screen saver that is a mosaic compilation of his iTunes album covers - the movement factor is one album cover drops off as another is added. My first thought was What I Would Do For A Taschen (book cover) Screen Saver like that! I found your calendar but I couldn't get it to widget onto my pc desktop. Please find a way of feeding those of us who are: Taschenista's Visual Stimulation Junkies and Geeks. In anticipation... E |

| Dear E from NZ, Thanks for your suggestion. We had some screen savers online for a couple of years but had to take them off in order to adjust them to current OS versions. We'll try to have them online again soon. Concerning the web calendar: Unfortunately we do not offer a windows version yet, but it's on our todo-list as these widgets are getting more popular. All the Best, C from DE | |

| Taschen says an aging Helmut signed 10,000 SUMO books originally? That is one book-per-minute for eight-hours-a-day for 23.13 days. Not stopping at all for a new pen or to urinate. It is a ludicrous fraud pulled on book collectors and photographers who do see their books. The book he was marketed as having personally signed? At one book-per-minute for eight-hours-a-day for more than 23.13 days? A book that weighed sixty-six pounds? I doubt there were 5,000 made. I believe much less than 5,000 were signed by the photographer. I guarantee my book is signed by the photographer and not an authorized agent. I also guarantee that the Curtis Neeley Foundation or a publisher will re-issue the book. We can buy SUMO at Amazon for about $100 ten years after the BOGUS limited edition? Ms Hanson, How is your disclaimer going? |

| I guarantee that the Curtis Neeley Foundation or a publisher will NEVER re-issue the book. Oops | |
| , United States, September 15, 2009 | |
| Mr. Neeley suffered a very traumatic car accident that, according to the disclaimer he appends to his emails, leaves him unable to control rude expression. Our sympathies are with you, Mr. Neeley, but I must correct you on your belief that it is very hard to sign 10,000 signing sheets, the leaves of paper that are then bound into a book. I assisted Vanessa del Rio in signing her sheets and we managed 2000 in just over four hours. I can assure you that Mr. Newton did indeed sign all his sheets, and with a minimum of grumbling. | |

| Signing sheets that are then bound into a sixty-six pound book of unoriginal photographs is NOT signing the book. The value thought added by an artist's signature is that the book passed through the artist's own hands? Signing sheets that are then bound into a book is not signing the book. Ms. Hanson, I appreciate your sympathy and wonder how your disclaimer is going? My book 'Figurenude' is more expensive than 'SUMO' now at Amazon and has MUCH more original photographs. It comes with a Guarantee that Taschen can never hope to equal. Buy one and see! It is on line completely free as a PDF. Go see. I see three books by Ralph Gibson that are limited editions with 306 pages each. The images in his are mostly figurenude photos and are as good as mine or are slightly better. | |

| I tried to be kind and to educate you, Mr. Neeley, but education requires an open mind. I wish you all the best with your book. | |

| This edition is not as heavy as the original size. So don't worry about the first edition. It will be unique forever!!! | |
| , United States, September 25, 2009 | |
| Mr Newton did NOT sign the 1st edition of books. He signed only pages that were then bound into the books. Did he sign enough pieces of paper that they could still offer it signed? Mr Newton said he did not consider it as a book himself. A "book" that size would be extremely valuable forever. It is valuable even with Newton's unoriginal photography. It will be valuable as an object regardless of who did the photos. | |

¡Gracias! | |
