Hola, felicitaciones por los libros. Son los mejores del mundo. Ana Mendieta (Cuba, 1948-New York, 1985) fue una artista extraordinaria. Sus obras son fotografías, videos y performances, body-art y land-art. Me gustaría que publiquen algún libro sobre Ana. ¡Gracias!

Is it expected issue of any book about Maya civilization? There are many books about ancient Egypt but it is hard to find book about Maya. It would be vary interesting and can be vary colorful, especially if it would be extended by not only ancient pictures but modern stylized illustration of myths.

Quisiera saber porque cuando un libro aparece en el catálogo de Taschen como versión en Español o Esp-Ital-Por, ese mismo libro siguiendo el link hacia Amazon aparece en otros idiomas, sin chance de cambiarlo (lo intenté con Green Architecture Now y ocurre eso)¿Alguién sabe como solucionar esto? muchas gracias

Estimado Gustavo. Amazon no vende libros en castellano, es por eso que no puedes. Por otro lado, nuestra Tienda On line, en nuestra página web, no está disponible para Sudamérica, esperemos que un futuro no muy lejano lo esté. Gracias por tu interés

Dear Taschen, Well, I finally did it. My folks gave me my birthday gift early this year: a one-year membership to the Philadelphia Museum of Art! My 2nd day there, literally just after I finished Diego Rivera The Complete Murals (which I'll get to in a second), I stumbled across 2 actual Rivera frescoes--the liberation of the peon, and Sugar Cane. Ha ha! That book was very beautifully laid out, a masterful job that explains not just the work, but the man, too. Ooh ooh, I love art.

While they'd be interested to hear about the 2-volume Matisse, I'm the art addict of the family. I will INDEED pick it up (looking forward to the "Jazz" series). Also, for any readers of this comment in the Philadelphia area, there is a big exhibit at the Phila. Museum of Art on Henri Matisse specifically and the artists who became particularly creative while living on the French Riviera. It ends mid-October I think? Thank you Taschen. You're doing a wonderful job.
