First, let me say that I absolutely love/lust all things Taschen. The care and commitment visible in each and every yummy publication is amazing.

That being said, as an avid collector of Cuban Movie Posters, I would love it if Taschen would consider Cuban movie posters as a subject for one if its inspired publications. While the rest of the world has openly embraced the beauty if this hand-printed, silkscreen art form, sadly, the US has not. (Damn the embargo!)

In your hands, it would be an absolute thing of beauty. One that I would gladly skip a mortgage payment to buy. (Just don't tell my debtors.)

Thanks so much,
Jacqui Garcia

Hi caszee, Glad you love the Taschen range. There are many stores in Brisbane and throughout Queensland that carry a vast range of Taschen's titles. My suggestions would be check out: Qld Art Gallery, Folio Books, or any of the Mary Ryan chain of stores. Best wishes, Chris Makin Tower Books Australia.

Hi caszee, Thanks for your comments. Our Australian distributor tells me you should be able to find our books in a number of outlets in Brisbane: Folio Books American Bookstore Queensland Art Gallery and at branches of the major chains such as Dymocks, etc. I'm sure you'll find a good selection!

Thanks for the title in the Arquitecture about Tadao Ando-Complete Works (New Price). Could be possible another one about (New Price)Renzo Piano-Complete Works in the future?

Best regards from Spain

I have really enjoyed the first two titles I have read in your Basic Architecture series (Le Corbusier and Aalto) which I discovered in the Design Museum in London. I think they are excellently put together and wonderful value for £5.99. I have just ordered two more from your site. Can I tell you something I missed in both of them? Firstly, any information about the authors - I see this is included in the entries about each title on your web site, but I cannot find it in the book. It helps to know something about the author - otherwise they are just a name. Secondly, I noted that in the Aalto volume, none of the plans had compass points on them (they did in the Corbusier volume). The orientation is an important part of a plan and I hope that you can ensure that compass points can be on all plans in other volumes. But congratulations on every other aspect of these books.

Hi, thank you for you remarks. You are absolutely right. We already changed the policy in actual titles to bring information about the author's biography, also. It is more complicated to bring the sun orientation in the plans, because most of the archival material does not include this. But we try to improve this in further editions. Thanky ou for your comments! Kind regards, Peter

Bonjour,
Petite remarque d'un client passionné par vos livres : je suis étonné que vous n'ayez pas encore consacré un ouvrage à l'oeuvre de David Lynch qui correspondrai (je pense)à l'esprit de votre maison.

Cordialement FRED

Dear Fred, We would LOVE to do a book on David Lynch, but it is not possible at the moment. Who knows what the future may bring? best - paul
