There is a fantastic book which is out of print that really needs to be reissued. It's the Esquire Encyclopedia of Men's 20th Century Fashion by O.E. Gale. Not only is this a great book for research, but it's also a great coffee table book, not unlike your Racinet's Complete Costume History. Thanks for your time.

Dear Thilo, Unfortunately we did not publish a 2008 Design Diary, as there were others we were going with...there will be a Design Now diary for 2009, available Summer 2008. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Amanda, TASCHEN UK

Dear Mr. Taschen,

I have just purchased (from amazon.com) your BURTON HOLMES book by Geno Caldwell.

I think it is the most beautifully done book of international photography that I have ever seen.

My reguards to Ms. Caldwell, your Editorial, Production, and Art Directing staff.

Thanks again for a great book.

Take care,

Rob

Taschen publications are utterly tasteful and needed inside a library... no publisher ever competes with the developped thematics ; subjects are being always renewed and precise as bringing an astonishing editorial - nothing is ever let apart.
The good taste at an affordable pricing they have succeeded in.
Everything marketed in those deviant decadent days should take model as a great example in this enterprise as a successful model.
When I would get rich - I'd afford their entire collection...

Your books of art, wall and desk calendars of early century ornament motifs including the interior style/design books of different cultures and great escapes and hotels of the world provide me with such inspiration and pleasure. One can appreciate how these beautiful colourful images captured in these books bring to light the wonders the eye can see and allows one to marvel at the world we live in...taking us further into our journey through life..

Is there no Design Tear-Off Calendar for 2008? The year is almost over and I would like to have one for next year!

Hello! I'm sorry to say that there is no Design tear-off calendar for 2008. The good news is: Most probably there will be one for 2009. Please find a list of tear-off calendars in our webshop (left navigation bar, bottom: Tear-off Calendars). Please note that some of them are already sold out, so I would recommend that you make your order soon! Best regards, Kerstin

Hello to my favorite publisher!
I hava a question...Because the holidays are near and presents are being bought...I bought yesterday Pierre&Gilles book for myself ( the last one in Belgrade) :)
and I was wondering...
Will there be a smaller reprint of it any time soon or at all???I know it will be a great present for some of my friends, but...the price for this book as a present is a bit high for me...so...Just wondering...
Hope to have your answer soon!
Take care!

Love ya!
:)
