| Many years ago, and for many years, I had suicidal depression. In managing myself out of it, I discovered that surrounding myself with strong people, music, imagery, and influences in general, had a profound effect on me and, as the years went by, I became that strength. They were Mirrors if you will - reflecting what I wanted to be and feel. When I was first introduced to Taschen, it was a revelation and my heart pounded with excitement from page to page and Taschen instantly became one of these Mirrors. I have been depression free for years now but recently I changed my name to E Lefever-Taschen. Not to misuse or abuse the Taschen name, but because it felt like the final permanent assimilation of strength into my life. Thank you Taschen. You have been, literally, a life-saver... | Tengo varios libros XL de Taschen el cual recopilan las obras completas de grandes pintores y arquitectos, sin embargo me parece extraño que aun no hayan sacado la obra completa de MARK ROTHKO uno de los grandes pintores de todos los tiempos. Ademas de tratarse de un pintor excepcional en el 2007 una de sus pinturas ha sido la más cara vendida en una subasta, tras rematarse en 72,8 millones de dólares, bueno, creo que ya suficientes meritos ha obtenido para que se pueda editar un libro XL con su obra completa, no creen amigos... Bueno, creo que muchos seguiremos esperando este gran libro con la calidad de la editorial Taschen. Felicitaciones y un cordial saludo desde Guatemala, he quedado muy complacido con sus libros. |
