Life in Brussels got even better when I heard Taschen opened a store here!
Thank you Taschen - as a fan I can assure you I will add to the store's success by picking up my choice of titles directly at this outlet.

A few requests while I'm at it :
the Walton Ford books look amazing - is there a more affordable collection planned in the future for us working class heroes ?
Newton's Work seems hard to find these days - is it only available from online sources anymore ?? It would be a shame to see such a book go out of print.

Keep up the great work !

Please Taschen plan a standard edition of Walton Ford, as you have done with Costume and Leonardo books

Dear Riccardo, I have edited several photo books in the Movie Icons series featuring stars from the 1920s and 1930s, including Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Charlie Chaplin and The Marx Brothers. Mae West is out soon also. They are all available in Italian. Thank you for your interest, best - paul

I was wondering why didn't you write a book about ZAHA HADID? She's one of the most interesting architects of our time. She's a first woman in history who got pritzker prize. I think she deserves to be in a Taschen book. Wish you all the best

Dear Nikola, we're actually already working on such a monograph. Please keep your eyes open so that you don't miss its publication in 2009. Best, Florian

Taschen books are works of art and have always been treasured in my home.

We would love to see a Movie Icon volume devoted to British film icon Dirk Bogarde. What an thrill that would be
to see Bogarde's handsome looks and memorable films illustrated in a gorgeous Taschen book.

Thank you for considering this.

Dear Barbara, Many thanks for your suggestion. Dirk Bogarde had a very interesting career and proved himself a great actor. We recently had a readers' poll to decide which stars to publish in our Movie Icons series. I'm afraid you'll have to wait and see whether or not he made it! best - paul

Hello,
I just mail ordered your 25th anniversary book on Hundertwasser as must say I am appalled by how ugly the interior design is--giant chunky san serif type, huge passages of all caps with no indents to indicate new paragraphs. An art book that is such an eyesore that it's hard to look at!!! Please clean up your act if you haven't already. Sorry, but you should know better.

I love Taschens books, therefore I'm wishing you prepeare an edition with SXIX Ilustrators from Europe: Gustave Doré, Doyle, Tenniels, Hauffman, etc. And another of Ilustrators for Children books like Ford, Segur, Nielssen, etc. They are so georgeos artist that they are worth of a Taschen edition, for people of
S XXI. May be is the time for a luxurious edition of a Childrens book of classic stories. I think it would be good for the existencial healths of the new genrations.
