I love Taschen books! They rock. What would the world do without Benedikt Taschen?

MMMWAH!!!... MMMWAH!!!... MMMWAH!!!...
slap-slap!!..

My personal way of expressing wild and sincere enthusiasm(3x)followed by humble but profound gratitude(2x).
These 'phonetics' are meant to wishfully reproduce the loud&clear sounds of my 3 firm kisses convincingly-pressed-into-both-the-cheeks, followed by my 2 soft gently-landing-my-one-hand-on-your-one-same-side-shoulder.)

These lovable TASCHEN publications: fine quality going along with sympathy to the purse! So once again and to all of you persons contri-buting, from bottom to top and vise-a-versa!

MMMWAH!!!... MMMWAH!!!... MMMWAH!!!... slapslap..!!..!!

Dear Alexandro, Many thanks for your glamorous suggestions for the Movie Icons series. It would certainly be a pleasure for me to research them! We have six new titles planned for 2009, as voted for by TASCHEN readers, so I hope that you like them also. best, - paul

Many things.. first thank you for your books that I've enjoyed - and will keep on enjoying - for many years.

I own 2 copies of the Stanley Kubrick Archives and as much as I love them I'm very excited about the new smaller edition which should be much more convenient to peruse.

That leads me to a suggestion..
I'm a book lover and the pleasure of paper is something that is an important part of the reading experience for me.
However, traveling and moving are more common or frequent than ever, sometimes for extended periods of time, and we've grown up used to bringing more and more (probably too much) with us in a digital form.

I would love for Taschen to offer digital versions of the books for purchase. I hate these proprietary magazine viewing applications and think pdf (high enough dpi to be comfortably read, low enough to avoid printed bootlegs) would be ideal though I understand there needs to be some kind of protection for you.

I hope this will eventually happen as an addition to paper editions and that Taschen will figure out a way for this to see the light.
I wouldn't mind a Taschen application at all if that's what it takes.
Just make sure it runs on both macs & pcs!

Thanks
P
