Thanks for the title in the Arquitecture about Tadao Ando-Complete Works (New Price). Could be possible another one about (New Price)Renzo Piano-Complete Works in the future?

Best regards from Spain

I have really enjoyed the first two titles I have read in your Basic Architecture series (Le Corbusier and Aalto) which I discovered in the Design Museum in London. I think they are excellently put together and wonderful value for £5.99. I have just ordered two more from your site. Can I tell you something I missed in both of them? Firstly, any information about the authors - I see this is included in the entries about each title on your web site, but I cannot find it in the book. It helps to know something about the author - otherwise they are just a name. Secondly, I noted that in the Aalto volume, none of the plans had compass points on them (they did in the Corbusier volume). The orientation is an important part of a plan and I hope that you can ensure that compass points can be on all plans in other volumes. But congratulations on every other aspect of these books.

Hi, thank you for you remarks. You are absolutely right. We already changed the policy in actual titles to bring information about the author's biography, also. It is more complicated to bring the sun orientation in the plans, because most of the archival material does not include this. But we try to improve this in further editions. Thanky ou for your comments!
Kind regards, Peter

Thanks for the new title in the Arquitecture's series about Calatrava's work. Could be possible another one about Oscar Niemeyer in the future?

Best regards from Spain

Bonjour,
Petite remarque d'un client passionné par vos livres : je suis étonné que vous n'ayez pas encore consacré un ouvrage à l'oeuvre de David Lynch qui correspondrai (je pense)à l'esprit de votre maison.

Cordialement FRED

Dear Fred,

We would LOVE to do a book on David Lynch, but it is not possible at the moment. Who knows what the future may bring?

best

I just love your stuff. So incredible and so wonderfully price. I would love to know if Taschen is going to open a store in Canada? Would be so cool.

For more than 2 years we're promised a dutch translation for movies of the 40's. Movies of the 30's, 50's and higher are already released. Now with the coming of the 20's I'm afraid we're never gonna see the 20 and 40 edition in a dutch translation again. Can someone please assure me I'm wrong in this or why it is taking so long?

just some more info on this and a correction on my side. The 60 edition was never released as a dutch edition, 50, 70 80 90 were. I got an email yesterday telling me there will be no more dutch translations, so basicly this I bought an incomplete series.
I'm very, very disappointed!

my mother was very insistent on the fact my grandfather was polish - then after some chat she would tell me he was from lithuania, it sounds such an interesting place, lots of myth and magic - abook about it's architecture?
