On the one year anniversary of President Barack Obama's election, TASCHEN Store New York will launch the new graphic design anthology, Design for Obama. Posters for change/A grassroots anthology, Wednesday, November 4th from 6 - 8pm.

During Obama’s campaign, hundreds of graphic designers submitted their work to Aaron Perry-Zucker’s designforobama.org for a free download (notably “Did The Right Thing,” sent by artist Don Button days after the election) which caught the attention of filmmaker Spike Lee. The result, is a book of over 200 designs that consists of the very best contributions to the site, hand-picked by editors Spike Lee and Aaron Perry-Zucker, which also includes an introductory essay by New York Times design columnist and graphic arts historian Steven Heller.

To celebrate the year anniversary of our president's election, Spike Lee, Steven Heller, and Aaron Perry-Zucker will be signing copies of their book Design for Obama at TASCHEN New York for the launch.
