The cover to this book is disgusting. if this is supposed to be 'erotic porn' it is downright degrading filth. The 'model' is ugly, in a filthy bathtub. with marshmallow 'peeps'. And the artist has taken many other degrading and disgusting pictures of women with gunshots, blood, and toilets, etc. this is garbage, pure and simple. Not art, and definitely not erotic. "The New Erotic Photography" is a look towards the future and a welcome change from the same old thing. It features works from some of the best up and coming, and known phototographers of this genre. This is a must-have for any one who admires or collects this type of art. Choosing a Lisa Boyle photo for the cover is brilliant. There is a certain alive-ness (like a still-frame of a movie)quality to her work which draws you in and makes you want to see more. The presentation and the idea are a copy of the Fetish Photo Anthology, made in 1990 for the first time by us, and many photographers who have worked on the 4 volumes are represented here...it's not jealousy, but when I sent in my project to Mr. Tashen I got a letter back stating it was commercially not interesting, and now the Tashen house is publishing erotic & fetish over and over again...well, it can only be good for the art of erotic photography of which I am a vivid promoter.
