“The New Erotic Photography (or “the bumper book of fannies” as we’ve christened it in the office) is a colossal compendium of sensual delights. The editor, veteran adult magazine editor Dian Hanson, addresses the great erotica versus porn debate, and alongside a portfolio of their best work each photographer broaches this subject and their art, their lives and their take on censorship.... A dazzling array of the sauciest, most delectable images I have ever seen.”

It’s also chance to see the younger, fresher wave of photographers emerging and how they’re redefining the art of eroticism. Out now.”

“Stop being reactionary and embrace al that posh porn has to offer with TASCHEN’s The New Erotic Photography. It’s a characteristically comprehensive and immaculately edited collection of work from the creatives who’ve carved out art-porn as a niche in its own right. And at an immodest 608 pages, it’s a veritable library of contemporary titillation, one of those prestigious tomes that certainly won’t remain on the bookshelf just for show.”

"Co-curators Dian Hanson and Eric Kroll (himself no slouch when it comes to producing sexy nudes of his own) collects the best work of 82 photographers from around the world. . .Clocking in at over 600 pages, the book looks to be a welcome addition to the Fleshbot Central library of fine art babery and we`re fairly frothing at the mouth in anticipation of our own copy. . ."

Just read that Penthouse review... You can call it art all you want but it isn't. Maybe that's why these editors disgraced those Master Photographers inside, so they could claim there was art here. But, someone who used to work for Leggs and Juggs deciding upon taste factor really kind of sets the tone of the book to begin with. I don't know why I should be so upset about those photographers being so pimped like this ... but seeing how most of them are dead and cannot speak for themselves anymore... I thought I'd speak up.
