This is a gorgeous exploration of erotic art photography, a genre which is proving ever more popular but still receives little industry attention compared to the more traditional genre of art nudes. The New Erotic Photography is a razor-sharp anthology that includes the work of both well known masters and a generous litany of new talent including the likes of Dave Naz, Bob Coulter, Cristian Crisbasan, Dider, Carre, and numerous others. Masters represented include Craig Morey, Jan Saudek, Bob Carlos Clarke, Eric Kroll, and Ralph Gibson, to name just a few. Overall there are an astounding 82 photographers represented. The editors of this book are the renown Eric Krill and Dian Hanson. They are most astute in their picks and a deliciously wide array of themes is presented - ranging from the festive, eros-infused nudes of Andrew Einhorn to the brilliant group sex scenes of Ludovic Goubet. The inclusion of more abstract erotica, such as the works of Japanese photo-artists Maki Miyashita and Yasuji Watanabe escalate this collection to the threshold of brilliance. Undoubtedly there are many other artists that should have been included in such a noteworthy publication (hopefully we'll see a 2nd volume in the future) but the stunning collection presented is indeed a fine representation of erotic photography that fans and collectors will surely love. Cant say I liked this as much as I thought I would. I was expecting erotic and felt like it was more in the pornographic region. Nothing wrong with porn for those who like it, but there is a difference between true erotic and harder porn. Nice quality printing with the book though. Lola United Kingdom

These guys from "les Inrockuptibles" (Paris) don't have a single clue about what means art photography. Great works of Jan Saudek, Vlastimil Kula and Alla Esipovich "between post-soviet depression and low-budget porn"? Give me a break, will you! Write about things that you know, guys.
