"TASCHEN's new book Jazz Covers, is a lush compendium of album art from more than 700 records spanning 50 years of the genre... The result of (Jazz Covers) is a collection that celebrates the music's boundless creativity as it inspires further exploration."
Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles
United States
"Anyone who loves jazz will enjoy this book - and at nearly 500 pages with an album cover on almost every page, no jazz lover could have seen them all."

"This book is a must-have for all of our readers' coffee tables, libraries or materbatoriums. Not only does it suit the uniform of our square format, but it could basically be the bible for skateboard company art departments such as SF-based Stereo and Western Edition"
Color Magazine, Toronto

"(Jazz Covers) is a bricklike compilation of groundbreaking design and photography, and it's almost as much fun as rummaging through those old bins, only cleaner."
New York Times Book Review, New York
United States
Rolling Stone, Paris
France
"TASCHEN's excellent new book Jazz Covers sets the bar for design and graphics reproduction, and its more than 650 meticulously printed covers from the 1940's through the 1990's puts Old RareNew(Black Dog Publishing) to shame. This book provides stories behind the covers-many iconic-of major and obscure jazz musicians, included in alphabetical order, providing the releases' art director, illustrator, and photographer credits."
One to One Magazine, London
United Kingdom
