November 1st, 2007
Page [1]
TASCHEN Store New York hosted Andy Summers this evening, who was taking the night off from The Police's Madison Square Garden shows, to sign copies of his new book, I'll Be Watching You. Several hundred people lined up, some of them arriving as early as 2pm to meet the famed guitarist. Photographer Ralph Gibson, producer David Saltz, and celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito came by to say hello. Andy signed over 300 books and the evening was documented on video by One Train Later productions (who are shooting a documentary about Andy), and captured on camera by Film Magic, Getty Images, Jeremiah Wilson, Wire Image and several rock and roll journalists.
