Julius Shulman, Modernism Rediscovered

Over 400 fans arrived at TASCHEN Beverly Hills tonight to meet legendary photographer Julius Shulman. Shulman signed nearly 250 books during his two hour event at the store. Most of his fans turned out for Shulman's new three volume masterpiece, Modernism Rediscovered, but many came with copies of older classics like Case Study Houses and Architecture and its Photography. There were several celebrities in attendance including Kelly Lynch, Mitch Glazer, and Udo Kier. The event was immortalized by staff from Los Angeles Magazine, Flaunt Magazine, art ltd. Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, and several freelance journalists.
