"C`est donc un immense hommage que le photographe Mario Testino nous livre avec cet album intimiste, dans un style rarement envisagé auparavant. Même si la motivation de cette séance de prise de vue était le prétexte de ces robes glamour, des robes de princesse, on y retrouve la générosité de Lady Diana. En effet, ces tenues taillées par les plus grands couturiers et portées par elle lors des plus grandes occasions, étaient destinées à une vente chez Christie`s à New York au profit de diverses associations caritatives. En cherchant à se débarrasser ainsi de ces habits représentatifs de la majesté de son statut, c`est un peu comme si la princesse voulait redevenir quelqu`un de simple, et cette séance de photo en est l`illustration parfaite : décontractée, souriante, sans bijoux, dans un décor inexistant, seule face à l`objectif et dans une vraie relation humaine, voilà comment cela s`est visiblement déroulé. Ce ne fut pas une séance de pose, de mode ou de représentation, mais juste un série de portraits. Sans rechercher la perfection, en s`interdisant toute possibilité de retouche et de correction des traits, la photographie de Mario Testino dessine avec douceur le visage de la princesse. En couleur et en noir et blanc, avec du grain, du flou, bref, rien qui ne laisserait penser à la photo d`une tête couronnée. Quelque chose de vrai et de profond, sans sophistication, sans vaine recherche de subtilité. A l`image même du personnage qui restera dans les cœurs."Photosapiens.comFrance |
