"This compilation of photographs by renowned photographers from the beginning of photography showcases an overwhelming love of Paris as a photographic subject. This "best of Paris" volume is appreciated for the caliber of its images, and is worthy of a place next to your Atget library."

I got this for Christmas and was delighted with it!

Being a lover of Paris and photography, this book was perfect for me.

The photographs are atmospheric and make you feel like you could jump into them!

Excellent, 10?10!

The translation was excellent, so exact and close. But could the Paragraphs be made smaller in future with clear spaces between them, and most important for the Student of language, that the Paragraphs line up with one another. It is easier for the Student
to be able to glance across quickly from German to English and it helps to understand the equivalent German or English word better than looking up the word in a Dictionary each time.
Thank You

"This book is pure nostalgia, filled with classic black-and-white prints by the usual suspects, along with some lass familiar shutterbugs."
