Reto would be allowed to photograph the Ryokan two days later. On our way back, Junichi-San showed us a new hotel I had never heard about before called "Prinz", which is a little jewel. A fantastic find for Hotels in Japan of the planned upcoming new Hotel Book series.
By the way, if you have any suggestions for a great title for this series let me know. I love the books by Herbert Ypma called "Hip Hotels" because I always loved alliteration in names and titles. To call a hotel book series Mr. And Mrs. Smith - you may know this series - I am not really attracted to, but in the end it sticks in your memory and this is what counts. Maybe we can find mix of both elegant and sticky? Let me know: a.taschen@taschen.com.
In conclusion, I want to thank Hell's Driver Ferrari-San, without whom the upcoming books could never become what they will be. And the biggest compliment I can add is that it was really fun. I tried several times to send a fax to Satomi-San to express my gratitude for all the time and energy he invested in my stay in Tokyo, but the fax did not go through, even though I checked the number several times. So I want to end my little reading-Room piece with a BIG thank to you, Yasuo!
