Christine Samuelian is a writer, editor, and media consultant based in London. Endlich mal erfrischend anderes neues Buch über die Metropole an der Themse. Das Buch überzeugt durch seine Idee, Londons Stadtteile über deren Hotels kennen- und schätzen zu lernen. Wie sagt Angelika Taschen im Vorwort ganz richtig: Sicher kann man günstiger und vielleicht besser in einem Hotel der einschlägigen Ketten nächtigen. Aber erfährt man über Lokalkolorit und Ambiente nicht mehr, wenn man in einem stadtteil-typischen Hotel jenseits des Mainstreams wohnt?
