Ces superbes cartes et planisphères célestes montrent les différentes représentations du Système solaire de Ptolémée à Copernic, et le ciel étoilé austral. Les textes (modernes) qui accompagnent cet atlas sont rédigés en trois langues: anglais, allemand et français. Ils comportent une biographie de l’auteur et l’origine de la publication de cet atlas céleste. On y trouvera aussi un glossaire et un répertoire des noms des étoiles et des constellations.
