"Publishing's growing heavy-weight division has a new champion -a super size book weighing in at the equivalent of 34 bags of sugar and, appropriately enough, featuring Muhammad Ali, the greatest himself, as he's never been seen before."
The Independent, London

"The greatest book of all: 34 kg Ali biography leads heavyweight publishing division."
The Independent, London
United Kingdom
"Just one look at the sheer size of the thing (imagine the dimensions of the average hatch leading to the loft in your house and you'll be just about right) tells you that this is less a labour of love, more the work of a wonderfully diseased mind."
Maxim, London
United Kingdom
"...A colossal book, whose dimensions reflect the status of the former heavyweight boxing champion."
Amateur Photographer, London

"How do you celebrate a larger-than-life icon? Think big for starters, which is exactly what TASCHEN has done with its extraordinary new book about Muhammad Ali, GOAT."
Interview, New York

"GOAT is a masterpiece, an heir loom and nothing short that a monument on paper."
Brentwood Magazine, Los Angeles

"Finally a book about Muhammad Ali that`s big enough to encompass his legend-or almost, GOAT, to be released next spring by the German publisher TASCHEN, is a heavyweight in every sense: 800 pages of photos, essays and graphic artwork in a colossal 20-inch-square format, tipping the scales at 75 pounds."
Sports Illustrated, New York
United States
"Publisher TASCHEN`s GOAT: A tribute to Muhammad Ali is a literary heavyweight, if only bantam in the ring; the book has 792 pages, including 3,000 images, weighs in at 34kg and measures 0.5 meters square. So much for floating like a butterfly."
