I think a lot of art isn't pure, because the motive from which it is made isn't pure, then it becomes fashion. I don't think subsidising is the solution, then there are to many rules to which the artist has to conform oneself to.
An artist has to be artisticly independent, has to work with a pure motive to make a pure work of art. But hey, that doesn't always sell... IngridNetherlands |
