"Comment l`artiste naît en lui? Il se souvient avoir tué, à 10 ans, de petits alligators dans un marais de Caroline du Sud, taillant dans cette peau pour en faire des collages. Il ne cessera plus tard de voyager, avec dans ses bagages, un tube de colle et des ciseaux.
