From his early days as one of the "New York Five," Richard Meier has been a central figure in contemporary architecture. Alberto Campo Baeza (b. Spain, 1946) studied in Madrid, where he obtained his PhD in 1982 at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (ETSAM). He has taught at various universities worldwide, including ETSAM as Head Professor of Design. Among his most important architectural works are the BIT Center in Mallorca (1998), the Caja General de Granada Headquarters (2001), the Guerrero House (Cádiz, 2005), and various private residences, such as the De Blas House, Sevilla de la Nueva (2000).

Philip Jodidio (born 1954) studied art history and economics at Harvard, and edited Connaissance des Arts for over 20 years. His books include TASCHEN’s Architecture Now! series, and monographs on Tadao Ando, Norman Foster, Richard Meier, Jean Nouvel, and Zaha Hadid. He is internationally renowned as one of the most popular writers on the subject of architecture.
