Store Manager, Hamburg

For our TASCHEN bookstore opening in Hamburg in fall 2009, we are seeking a Store Manager with several years of experience in a similar retail position, able to lead a strongly motivated sales team.

The Hamburg shop will be TASCHEN's third store in Germany.

Applicants should be passionate about our unique and highly successful range of publications and familiar with all aspects of the Hamburg cultural scene. They should be outgoing, creative, internationally-minded and able to connect with customers from all walks of life. We also expect a proactive role in hosting events and developing relationships with corporate businesses. Applicants should also be fluent in English.

We expect the Store Manager to play an active role on the selling floor, managing and motivating the team to achieve sales goals and to establish TASCHEN Hamburg as a cultural centre of the community and Hamburg's ultimate place to shop for books and browse.
