| Dear friends: I love your books and i have many of them, specially on modern art. My husband gave as a gift the one on Calder (in spanish) but it has a little mistake: it goes from page 52 to page 55, then to 54 and again to 55, so number 53 is there but with the wrong number. Just want to let you know because your books are so perfect! Greetings!! |

| Dear all, I am using at the moment a Studyapp called "Mental Case" on the Mac and iPhone. With this app one can create flashcards of all kinds, create mental notes with pictures, text etc. It's really a good learning plattform any kind of subject. Is there any chance that "Taschen" could somehow create Slides for apps such as Mental Case in order for students to learn better for art exams? |

| Bonjour à vous, Merci pour les livres que vous publiez, même si certains d'entre-eux ne sont pas à la portée de mon porte-monnaie (mais l'important est qu'ils existent, ces livres, que des fous prennent le risque de les éditer. Ça, à mes yeux, ça n'a pas de prix : bravo !) En ce moment, mes deux livres favoris, sublimes, sont "The Temple of Flora" et "The World of Ornament". Wahou ! Petite question : est-il prévu dans vos projets un "David Lynch Archives" ? Ce livre pourrait vraiment avoir de la gueule et, j'imagine, pourrait se vendre. De même que je rêve d'un beau livre édité par vous autour de la série "Twin Peaks". Qu'en dites-vous ? Enfin, j'ai bien compris que les "Archives Bergman" avaient été un four, mais pourquoi n'est-il plus disponible à la vente sur votre site ? Soldé, ce livre m'intéresse :-) Bravo et merci à vous d'exister ! J'aime l'éclectisme de vos choix éditoriaux, votre côté qui ne se prend pas au sérieux tout en éditant des livres sérieux (et d'autres plus légers mais toujours beaux), je bave sur les carnets de croquis de Crumb que je ne peux m'offrir (mais ce n'est pas grave !), et surtout, merci pour votre folie. "The Temple of Flora" résume à mes yeux Taschen : un médecin fou s'est ruiné à vouloir éditer un livre géant et magnifique sur les plantes. Des années et des années plus tard, un éditeur aussi fou réalise le rêve de ce médecin en éditant somptueusement son livre. Cette fois sans se ruiner ! C'est fou et c'est beau. Vive Taschen ! |

| Bonjour Julien, mille mercis de votre message, c’est pour ce genre de commentaires que nous aimons notre travail! Vous avez du bon gout – David Lynch est certainement sur notre liste d’intérêt (avez vous vu son restaurant « Silencio » dans notre livre récent Architecture Now! Eat Shop Drink?), peut-être un jour il y aura aussi une grande monographie sur lui. Ce qui est dingue avec lui c’est qu’on ne saurait pas si on doit faire le livre sur lui comme réalisateur ou comme artiste… D’ailleurs, je pense ça va valoir la peine pour vous de jeter un oeil dans livre TV Series de Jürgen Müller, qui sera publié d’ici un an – il commencera avec Twin Peaks ! C’est vrai qu’il y a encore des copies des Archives Ingmar Bergman en France, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi ils n’étaient inclus dans le solde (très beau livre d’ailleurs, un des ouvrages les plus riches qu’on ait jamais produit…). | Dear Catherine, Lucky day today! I discovered that in Modena (where i live) is settled the italian distributor for Taschen. They have just open an outlet where i found the ads of the 40, 50 and 60, two of them half price. They also ordered for me the 00-19 and 30 volumes.
